다시 생각나는 "let it be"

다 괜찮을 것 같았던, 달리 어쩔 수도 없었던 시절의 노래 'let it be'("괜찮아, 그냥 둬버려~")가 생각나는 나날이다.

내겐 그렇게 이야기해 줄 사람이 없었다.

이야기해 줄 사람이 있었거나 없었거나 다시 생각나는 노래가 된 것이다.

세상 일이 뜻대로 되지도 않았고, 얼마 남지 않았을 시간에 있을 일은 더욱 그럴 것이다.

어쩔 수 없는 일이 아니겠는가.

20여 년 전 공항에서 사 본 책『존 레논 음악보다 더 아름다운 사람』(제임스 우달) 표지를 들여다보았다.

그 노래 때문에, 내가 나에게 그냥 둬도 괜찮다고 얘기하며 그를 그리워하는 나날이 되었다.

 

떠나기 전에 해야 할 일이 있고, 그걸 생각하는 나날이다.
